Jonny Mac Fleak, 80, of Sapulpa, OK, passed from this life on Monday, September 5th surrounded by his family. Jon was born on April 3, 1942 to Fred William Fleak, Sr. and Aileene Authur Fleak in Muskogee, OK. His family moved to Pryor, OK when he was a young boy and he graduated from Pryor High School in 1960. Jon was an athlete who excelled at football, basketball, and track. He was offered a full scholarship to play football for the University of Denver but chose to join his father and brothers in the family business of Muskogee Metal Fabricators instead. Jon married Janet McArtor Fleak in 1962 and they were blessed with four children. Jon then entered the carwash and laundromat businesses and started Jon Fleak Construction Co. He was a devoted father and grandfather and was always ready to support his family in all their endeavors.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Aileene Fleak, older brother Fred Fleak Jr., twin brother Tom Fleak, and grandchildren Kayla Mae and Gage Wesley Fleak. Jon is survived by the mother of his children Janet Fleak of Muskogee, OK; children, Steve Fleak and wife Tami of Sapulpa, OK; Gina Daugherty and husband Mike of West Fork, AR; Kristi Lawrence and husband Kelly of Winnfield, LA; Micah Fleak and wife Kendall of Webbers Falls, OK; his seven grandsons Paden Fleak and wife Kassie of Sapulpa, OK; Blake Daugherty and wife Sydney of West Fork, AR; Josh Fleak of Sapulpa, OK; Andrew Daugherty and wife Kierstin of Little Rock, AR; Trey Daugherty of Fayetteville, AR; Caleb and Carter Olzawski of Muskogee, OK; great-grandchildren Bodarc and Cypress Daugherty of West Fork, AR. He is also survived by special friends Barbara and Angel McClaren and a host of special nieces and nephews.
A casual celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 11:00 am at the Green Hill Cemetery pavilion in Muskogee, Oklahoma
