John Larue Squire 62, of Kiefer, went to be with his Creator on February 3, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.

Johnny was born December 6, 1957, in Holdenville, OK. to the late Marvin Lee Squire and Shirley Ann Squire. He graduated from Union High School and went to Tulsa Junior College and studied Accounting. Johnny retired from Tulsa Cold Storage.

Johnny’s favorite football team was the University of Oklahoma Sooners. He enjoyed going to bingo and casino with family. He loved spending time with his family and cheering on the Sooners.

Johnny is predeceased by his father Marvin Lee Squire and one sister Patricia Sue Squire.

Johnny is survived by his mother, Shirley Squire, six brothers Leroy Squire of Tulsa, Michael Squire of Glenpool, Joseph Squire of Tulsa, Donald Squire of Sapulpa, Chris Squire of Glenpool, and Kenneth Squire, and one sister Suzetta Squire-Deere.

He had many nephews and nieces and great-nephews and great nieces that he loved.

Flower girls will be Lisa Squire, Angela Squire, Patricia Deere, Kasey Squire, Rebecca Squire, Sierra Squire and Aaliyah Squire.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Squire, Kristian Squire, Johnie Butler, Zachary LeClair, Ceka Deere, and Justin Squire and Elijah Hooper.

Honorary Pallbearers are Calvin LeClair, Ahhole Cheek, and Woxie Deere.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home 1208 South Main in Sapulpa.
