Joe Dean Adams was born on March 21st, 1926 in Okmulgee Oklahoma to Jane and Millard Adams. He was one of 10 children. On Tuesday November 16, 2020, at the age of 94, with family by his side, Joe entered the Heaven’s gates to be with the Lord. Joe worked in Muskogee for Carnation and then Affiliated Foods. He later married Anna “Sosie” Adams and they made their home in Kellyville. He enjoyed gardening and working on his farm where he raised goats and cattle. He liked to spend time outdoors hunting and riding his tractor. He was an active member of Kellyville First Baptist Church and loved to visit and play games with the men’s group. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and always laughed and joked around. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Jane and Millard. His wife Anna, two brothers, Bob, and Carl, four sisters, Dorothy, Joan, June, and Linda, his son Randy, and then on Wednesday November 17, 2020 just one day after him, his daughter Sharen reached for his hand and joined him in Heaven. He is survived by his daughter Connie Keim of Coweta, his son Jimmy Dean Adams and wife Katherine of Kellyville, two sisters, Mary and husband Leon Mullins of Wichita, and Wanda and husband Dean Hayes of Muskogee, and brother Ross Adams of Plano, TX, 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 20 great, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
