Jerry Howard Harbeston 63, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was born December 3, 1958, in Sapulpa to Jim & Darla Harbeston. Jerry grew up in Mounds, where he went to Mounds Schools until the end of his senior year. He transferred and graduated from Sapulpa High School.
Jerry faithfully served in the United States Navy, where he was on submarines for several years. He was awarded the Navy Achievement Metal.
Jerry married the love of his life Kala Howell. They recently celebrated 41 years of marriage this past May.
He worked for Endex of Tulsa for 20 years, then spent the last 14 years working heat & air and opening his own business. He started learning these skills as a young boy alongside his dad. His giving spirit led him to do many jobs for a cup of coffee and a cookie or a hug and a prayer.
Jerry loved the Lord with all his heart. He spent his life instilling that love in his family as well.
He was a member of Pickett Prairie Baptist Church, where he was a trustee, a Sunday school teacher and loved going to Falls Creek to cook for the youth group.
Jerry loved gardening, fishing, camping and hunting, especially with his grandkids.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Kala, daughter Natasha and son-in-law Nathan Cotner, daughter Heather and son-in-law Matthew Long. Grandchildren Lyli Cotner, Dawson Hand, Caanon Long and Liam Cotner. Parents Jim & Darla Harbeston, a brother Jimmy and Patty Harbeston and sister Robin and Darrel Mills. A host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
