Jeff Edwards, 46, of Henryetta, OK went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 7, 2018. Jeff was born on March 11, 1972 to Laurie Ann Groves.

He attended Bristow High School. He worked as a teenager at Warehouse Market with his grandfather, Earl Groves to put himself through college, he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Early Elementary Education at NSU. He worked as a teacher and Principal for many years.

On November 18, 1997 Jeff welcomed his only child his baby girl, Emily Nicole Edwards into this world, she was and always will be his little princess.

Jeff was a wonderful, son, brother and father, he enjoyed spending time with his family, going to flea markets, the Goodwill and shopping. Shoes were kinda his thing, everything fancy. He loved going for rides in his car (ABE) with his companion Michael Winap. His bright shinny spirit was loved by many and will always be dearly missed.

He is survived by his mother, Laurie Rainbolt of Okmulgee, OK; his daughter, Emily Edwards of Jenks, OK; his sister, Allison Brown and husband, Ryan of Henryetta, OK; his grandmother, Judy and Jim Burgess of Tulsa, OK; and grandmother, Julie Groves of Sapulpa, OK; his aunt and uncle Sandra and Terry Blackburn ; his cousin, Tori Blackburn of Sapulpa, OK; his nieces, Ariel Harrington of Muskogee, OK and Bethany Harrington of Tulsa, OK; his nephew, Coultin Harrington of Forest City, IA; and three great-nieces and nephew, Londynne, Bentley and new baby.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Eugene Groves; his nephew, Bobby Joe Harrington; his great-grandparents, Ruth and Leroy Tiger and Jim and Stella Groves all of Sapulpa, OK.

A Memorial service will be held December 13, 2018 at 10am at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
