Hoyt Bruce Duncan, Jr, 67, of Sapulpa passed from this life on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was born to Hoyt Bruce Duncan and Ada Esther (Hardy) Duncan in San Diego, California on June 20, 1953. He graduated from Cement High School in 1971. After 20 years of service, Bruce retired as Detective Lieutenant from the Sapulpa Police Department. Retirement for Bruce meant starting a 20+ year successful commercial construction business with his son, Chad Duncan. Bruce enjoyed his grandchildren, tending his cattle, working his land with a dozer, and traveling.
He is survived by his children, Chad Duncan and wife, Stacy of Sapulpa; and LaDeana Duncan of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Sir and Justice Duncan of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Parker and Bella Pestel-Duncan of Sapulpa; his sister, Threase Anderson and husband, Larry of Yukon; his brother, Dennis Duncan and wife, Lee Ann of Sapulpa; his nieces, Carrie Duncan of Sapulpa, Olivia Goforth and husband, Hunter Goforth of Oklahoma City; his nephew, Cody Duncan of Sapulpa; special friends, Eric and Julie Cannon; and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Ada Duncan.
In lieu of a funeral and to honor his wishes, a celebration of life will be hosted by the Duncan Family later this Spring.
