Helmuth Buechler died on February 12, 2019 in Glenpool, Oklahoma. He was born on April 10, 1924 in Bowdle, South Dakota to Henry and Elizabeth Buechler. Helmuth was retired from being self-employed as Carpenter/Maintenance. He was a proud World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was presented an Appreciation Award of military service by Govenor Jindal of Louisiana. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, listening to big band and polka music and played the accordion. He was so very proud of his family and loved spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Elizabeth Buechler of South Dakota, his two brothers (Ted and Algon) and five sisters (Alvina, Ida, Thena, Olga and Lydia).

Those left to cherish his memory include daughter; Cindy Liner and husband Jimmy Liner of Simsboro, LA, daughter Bonnie Allen and husband Larry Allen of Bossier City, LA, son Dwight Buechler and wife Kathy Buechler of Bixby, OK. Grand children include; Jim Liner, Jennifer Hawkins and Amanda Buechler. Great grandchildren include; Taylor Hawkins, Sara Cagle, Cody Hawkins, Aidan Sullivan, Corbin Hawkins and Nick Liner. As well as great great grandchildren; Rylan Jamison, Philip Beau Cagle and Kinley Cagle and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be Friday, February 15, 2019 with family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be scheduled later in Louisiana with final resting place to be Walworth, South Dakota.

Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt’s Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers.
