Gloria A. Hays, age 76, of Tulsa (Sapulpa) passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018, due to complications following an illness.

Gloria was born in Oklahoma City and lived most of her life in Oklahoma, surrounded by friends and family. Her occupation was as an LPN, specializing in geriatric care, and she showed a great love and empathy for her patients. She faced challenges in life with great fortitude and was admired by many.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Louise and Pete; her partner, Joe; two children, Joseph and Kirk; and her granddaughter, Tara.

She is survived by daughter Lori (David) and son Jason (Kimberly); grandson Cody (Brooke); great-grandsons, Asher and Easton; siblings Kenny “Pete” (Dora), Melva “Mel” and Kay (Lum); nieces Jami, Cindy, Dawn and Kristy and nephews Scott, Shawn and Kevin and their spouses; and many great-nieces and -nephews. Family was precious to Gloria and every child, whether “step”, “great”, married into or out of the family was welcomed with open arms.

Gloria is also survived by her close friend group, “The 59ers,” comprised of her classmates from high school.

Visitation will be at Green Hill Funeral Home, 400 E. Teel Road, Sapulpa, OK from 3-8pm on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Funeral services will be held at graveside, at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City at 3pm on Friday, March 2, 2018. The family has entrusted services to Green Hill Funeral Home.
