Gerald Wayne “Buster” Bilby 65, of Sapulpa, went to be with the Lord at his home on March 26, 2021.

Buster was born on February 12, 1956 in Sapulpa to Dick and Lucille Bilby. He was employed by Fabsco Shell and Tube where he retired after 35 years.

Buster married the love of his life Rita Ross on July 7, 1978. They spent 42 wonderful years together and raised 2 amazing children.

He was a faithful servant of God and a dedicated member of Allen Church.

Buster loved spending time with his grandkids. They were the center of his world. He enjoyed hunting with his son Josh and his dad.

He was a man of few words, but he showed how he cared by his actions. He would drop anything to help his family and friends.

He was taken too soon and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Rita; his children Josh Bilby and wife Jill, Jessica Holbrook and husband Kyle; grandchildren Parker Bilby, Luke Bilby, Meredith Holbrook, Tucker Bilby, and Clayton Holbrook; mother Lucille Bilby; sister Sandy Groves and husband Jimmy; brother Terry Bilby; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at Allen Church in Sapulpa on Thursday, April 1st at 10:00 a.m. Masks are required.
