Emmett William O’Neal, 91, of Sapulpa passed away from this life on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Drumright Nursing Home, Drumright, OK. He was born on January 20, 1928 in Red Oak, OK to Harvey and Jose (Anderson) O’Neal. He was a machinist by trade. He lived in the Sapulpa community most of his life. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to go fishing.
He is survived by daughter, Linda Herring of Sapulpa; son, Gary William O’Neal and wife, Marla of Drumright; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Jerry O’Neal of KC and Norman O’Neal of Fresno, CA.
He is preceded in death by his wife; and parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Canyon Road Baptist Church, 8550 S 49th W Ave, Tulsa, OK 74131. Interment to follow at Bixby Cemetery, Bixby, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
