Edward James Lisee, 75, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 27, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ed was born September 1, 1946, in Providence, Rhode Island to Loretta and Treffle Lisee.

Ed met and later married the love of his life Cory Guibeau and were blessed to have recently celebrated 55 years of marriage.  Ed was employed by Star City Glass in Rhode Island as the furnace supervisor until 1980.  Ed and his family moved to Sapulpa in 1981. Ed went to work for Bartlett Collins Glass Company where he was also a supervisor over the furnace.

Ed loved the Lord with all his heart, and he enjoyed going to many different churches.  He was a people person, and he never met a stranger.  He also enjoyed volunteering at the Garden’s Nursing Home where he would enjoy dancing with the residents and visiting with them.  Through his visits he brought so much joy, love and laughter to them.  He loved to bring goodies and homemade candy to the staff and many others, he truly brightened their days with joy, love, and happiness.

Ed loved spending time with all his grandchildren and great-grandbabies. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them all so dearly.  He loved going to new places, shopping, and going to the casino.  He also enjoyed working puzzles and reading his Bible.  He had a caring and compassionate heart and was always there to lend a helping hand for his family and friends. 

Ed is survived by his beautiful and loving wife Cory Lisee of Sapulpa; daughter Corie Timmons and son-in-law Kevin of Sapulpa; son Ed Lisee and daughter-in-law Shelley of Glenpool; grandchildren Jacob Lisee and wife Candice of Glenpool, Kaitlyn Perry and husband David of Sapulpa, Cassy Lisee and fiancé Chris Bell of Sapulpa, Austin Timmons of Sapulpa, Taylor Lisee of Glenpool and Tyler Lisee of Glenpool; great-grandchildren Addison Timmons, Zachariah Perry, Zoey Perry and Xxavier Bell all of Sapulpa and Journey and Jordynn Lisee of Glenpool and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a visitation from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville.  Services will be 3:00pm, Friday, December 3, 2021, also at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
