Dortha Jones, 91, of Sapulpa passed away the evening of October 8th at Arbor Village surrounded by her family and friends. Dortha was born February 24th, 1929 in Hodgen Oklahoma to Bill and Nona Doyle. She went to Heavener High School through the tenth grade. She met and later married Charles Jones on May 26th, 1945. They were happily married just short of 60 years when Charles passed in 2005. She worked at Frankoma Pottery as the press operator and retired in 1993 after many years.  Dortha enjoyed sewing, doing word puzzles, reading her bible, baking (eating Lemon Meringue Pie), and spending time with the people she loved in her spare time. She was young at heart, put others before herself, and was an independent soul that will be missed by many.

Dortha is proceeded in death by; Parents, Bill and Nona Doyle, Husband, Charles Jones, Brother, Clyde William Doyle, Sister, Arlene Gable, and daughter Charlotte Jones

She is survived by her daughters; Reba Irvine, and Retha Carter and her husband CW Carter;

Grandchildren; Christi Mullins (Harrison), Ronny Guinn and wife Paula Guinn, Charles Brian Guinn, and John Irvine

Great Grandchildren; Megan Ingram (Mullins) and her wife Stephanie Ingram, Fallon Guinn, Landon Guinn, Lillian Mullins, and Charlotte Mullins

Siblings; Jean Valentine and husband Don Valentine, Donna Hunt, Dorlis Hillsman and husband Clarence Hillsman, and Beverly Turman and her husband Bud Turman
