Donna Jo Robinson, known to her family as “Granny” passed away in Tulsa, April 15, 2021. She was born March 17, 1935 to Elmer and Alyne Rogers in Madisonville, Kentucky. She graduated high school in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Donna married Norval Robinson, June 6, 1953. They lived their married life in the Sapulpa area. She worked 31 years as a school cafeteria manager at Garfield and Washington schools.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Alyne Rogers, husband Norval Robinson, granddaughter Julia Watashe and grandson Nathan Madewell.
Survivors include son, Doug Robinson and wife, Diane, daughter, Pam Watashe and husband, Tony, daughter, Jan Basquez and husband, Billy. Grandchildren, Jeremy Robinson and wife, Jodi, Nic Robinson and wife, Megan, Matt Watashe and wife, Ashley, special granddaughter, Natalie Pedroza and husband, Miguel, great grandchildren, Byron, Colton and Dillon Robinson, Rainey, Wyatt and Ace Robinson, and special great grandchildren, Hayden and Emma Watashe.
She is also survived by grandsons, Steve Basquez and wife, Shawna, Joey Basquez and wife, Stephanie, Jerritt Basquez and wife, Ashley, granddaughter, Megan Wasson and husband Matt. Great grandchildren, Ashlee and Kinlee Basquez, Bianca Johnson, Jace and Jax Basquez, Reed, Austyn and Piper Wasson, and Stetson Basquez.
She is also survived by her brother, Allen Rogers and wife, Loretta, nephews, Brett and Christopher Rogers.
For approximately 9 years, Donna called The Gardens in Sapulpa her home, and is survived by her Gardens family whom she loved very much.
Viewing is scheduled on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Smith’s Funeral Home in Sapulpa from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Graveside services are scheduled on Monday, April 19, 2021, at Green Hill Cemetery in Sapulpa at 1:00 p.m.
