Donald Hedrick

Donald Jack Hedrick passed away at home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, on January 10th, 2019, at the age of 59.

Don was predeceased by his mother Nancy Main, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; father Roger L. Hedrick Jr., of Severy, Kansas; brothers Terry Johnson and Anthony (Tony) Sheets; paternal grandparents Roger L. Hedrick Sr. and Theresa (Brown) Hedrick; and maternal grandparents Buck and Golden Watson.

Don is lovingly remembered by his daughter Holly Sibley, son-in-law Izaak Sibley, and granddaughter Sagan Q Sibley, of Tahoma, California; his brother Clay Hedrick and niece Lindsey Hedrick, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and former wife Tamara Bobb, of Wichita, Kansas.

Don was born in Sapulpa on November 9th, 1959. He graduated from West Elk High School in Howard, Kansas, in 1978 and went on to Butler County Community College, where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in 1981. He also studied at the University of Oklahoma in Norman and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2011 from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.

Don enjoyed playing foosball, pool and online games. He was the 1989 World Foosball Champion. He was interested in the study of human behavior, including sociology, psychology, anthropology and comparative religion. He was a member of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma.

At Don’s request, cremation will take place at a later date, and no services are planned. A memorial page will be set up where friends and family can share photos and memories.
