Don E. Shelton was born November 4, 1958 in Cushing the son of Bill and Shirley (Bearden) Shelton. He passed from this life on Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Tulsa at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 20 days.

Don graduated from Sapulpa High School and worked as a galvanizer in the steel industry. He married Laurie Cook in 1980 and was a member of the Oakridge Baptist Church. Don enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

His survivors include his wife of 38 years, Laurie Shelton of Tulsa; daughters, Dana and Donna Shelton both of Tulsa; sister, Sharla Smith of Texas; niece, Amy and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Shelton; mother, Shirley Blankenship; brother, Billy Shelton; and nephew, Robert.

Viewing for Don is scheduled for 8am to 5pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 and Thursday, March 28, 2019.

A graveside service will be held 10am, Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Rev. Dean Robison will be officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home
