A wake/viewing will be held at Leonard-Marker Funeral Home in Bixby, OK on Monday, November 21st at 7:00 P.M.  A funeral service is scheduled on Tuesday, November 22nd at 2:00 P.M. at Concharty United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Noah Marshal.  Interment will follow in the Parker & Perkins Family Cemetery.

David Ernest Perkins, 71, of Beggs OK went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2022 surrounded by his family that loved him with all their hearts. He was born April 19, 1951 in Beggs, the son of the late Mary Delores Christian and Ernest Asbury Perkins, Jr. He was one of 4 siblings. David married Ella Louise Powell on August 15, 1970.  He served in the US Army, was a welder & welder instructor, an avid rancher, and various things to provide for his family. He enjoyed his retirement while continuing ranching, being with his family and relished watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren that he adored. David enjoyed his joy rides with his wife on their Harley and other adventures. David did not go anywhere without his best friend, Jett.  He was outgoing, funny, had a big heart, caring, a loving husband, devoted Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

David is survived by his wife of 52 beautiful years, Ella Louise Perkins. Together they have three children, Stefanie Wilson & Brent of Mounds, OK; Delana Kent & Brad of Frederick, OK and Rusty Perkins of Beggs, OK.  Grandchildren, Spencer Schuh & Jennifer of Harrison, AR;  Baylen Giulioli & Stephanie of Beggs, OK; Jordan Tarpalechee of Tulsa, OK; Jeffry Hooper of Tulsa OK; Madison Matney of Oklahoma City, OK.  He was blessed with 11 great grand babies.  David is also survived by two sisters, a brother in law, a niece, nephews and great nephews.

He will be deeply missed by all his family, friends and all that knew him.

Casket bearers are Spencer Schuh, Baylen Giulioli, Jordan Tarpalechee, Jeffry Hooper, Joe Hooper & Ross Hill.
