Dale gave his life to Christ as a teenager at West Tulsa United Methodist Church where he began preaching under the leadership of Pastor Rubert Furr. Having served in the United Methodist Church in El Reno, Tulsa, and Catoosa Oklahoma; Greencastle Church of the Nazarene; ChristChurch and Brookside Church in Tulsa Oklahoma. He lived the remainder of his life for the Lord Jesus Christ.
He spent his days with his family and friends enjoying stories, games, movies, camping and all sorts of get togethers. He spent many hours driving daughter Jana around everywhere where they were able to spend time talking about anything and everything. Then the time came where she drove him around… beginning with teaching her how to drive that’s when the adventure driving and talking began. They watched scary movies and played games and talked every day. He shared his love of sports with daughter Leah and enjoyed watching games and conversations galore. He was always proud of her and her accomplishments and loved seeing her succeed. In the last years of his life he met a new best friend, Pastor Brandon McCombs who brought him into his family as one of their own. He was so happy to tell of the adventures Brandon had taken him on and the sermons they had been working on.
He proclaimed the Gospel of Christ for all to hear in the hope and prayer of their Salvation. He was devoted to his family and friends and tried his best to live the life of Christ exampled out for them.
He will be missed and loved by many but as he always said he is not gone he has simply changed his address. He now resides in the Glory of Heaven where through our faith in Christ Jesus we shall see him again and worship our Lord forever more.
