Colleen Carr Lee passed from this life on May 23, 2020. She was born August 13, 1925 in Sapulpa to Della and Henry Carr. She graduated from Sapulpa High School and married J.D. Lee as he was leaving to fight in the Pacific during World War II. She was active in several local clubs and organizations and worked many years with such charities as The Salvation Army. She and J.D.  were active members of the Intertribal Indian Club Of Tulsa and enjoyed attending PowWows and other events. Devout Christians, they were members of Good Shepherd Episcopal church in Sapulpa for many years before joining Church of the Resurrection Anglican church in Tulsa.

Colleen was preceded in death by husband J.D. in 2010 and lived the last six years of her life at St. Ann’s Retirement Center in Oklahoma City. There she actively created a new environment of friends and activities and amused the entire center with her fanatical enthusiasm for University of Tulsa football. So much so that many of them jokingly called her Miss Tulsa.

She is survived by daughter Diana Morrison of Oklahoma City, granddaughters Heather Eisel of Norman, Hilary Clark of Washington D.C. and Hayden Green of Norman. She is also survived by great grandchildren Ewan and Naya Green of Norman and Drake Eisel of Norman.
