Charlotte Sue Contreras was born on Saturday, February 17, 1945 to the late Floyd and Mary (Grice) Smith in Kansas City, Missouri. Charlotte passed away at her home in Sapulpa surrounded by her family on the morning of March 8, 2020. She was 75 years old. Charlotte was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in numerous church callings. Charlotte married Daryl Eugene Contreras on September 14, 1963 in Oklahoma City. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids and enjoyed her crafts. Those preceding Charlotte in death are her parents and birth mother, Virginia Carlson.
Those left to cherish all of the wonderful memories of Charlotte are her husband of 56 years, Daryl Eugene Contreras, son Mike Contreras and wife Trina of Olathe, Kansas, daughter Kristi Christy and husband Tyson of Okmulgee, grandchildren Cole Christy, Baylor Christy, and Tessa Christy, all of Okmulgee and Nathan Contreras and Nicholas Contreras of Olathe, Kansas, sister Patricia Kiser of Yukon, OK, brother Charles Carlson and wife Linda of Tipton, IA, sister Linda Hillyer of Tipton, IA, brother Carl Carlson of Odell, IL, sister Becky Severin and husband Stan of Lowden, IA and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family committal service will be held.
