Cecil Varnell Viefhaus, 76, of Sapulpa passed from this life on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Ranch Terrace Nursing Home, Sapulpa, OK. He was born on June 21, 1941 in Kingfisher, OK to Dewitt and Elnora Viefhaus.

He is survived by his sister, and brother-in-law, Elsie and John Reese; niece, Jan Clark; nephews, Stan Clark, Jimmy Reese and Vikki Dee; and his very best friends, Tom English and BoBo Brumley.

He was in the Army National Guard in Sapulpa, OK.

He worked for Unit Rig for many years, he also was a gunsmith and knife maker.

His favorite time was when he could go fishing and camping at Heyburn Lake. It made no difference if it was Winter or Summer.

He will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK. Interment to follow at South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
