Carol Ann West, a longtime resident of Sapulpa, OK passed away Saturday, August 28th at the age of 75. Carol was born on March 12, 1946 to Frederick and Helen McMahon in Wellsville, NY. Early in her childhood, her family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a graduate of Tulsa Central High school class of 1964. Carol attended the University of Oklahoma and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She met the love of her life, Jerry West while attending OU. They recently celebrated 53 years of marriage.

Carol was a member of First Presbyterian Church Sapulpa for 45 years. During this time, she served on various committees supporting the church. She was also a member of the Pi Beta Phi Alumnae and PEO International. She loved the Arts and was the Secretary of the Tulsa Performing Arts Center for 20 plus years.

Carol enjoyed reading, art, gardening, and spending time with family. She was a fantastic storyteller and had a vast sense of knowledge on numerous topics. Her stories will be greatly missed by all!

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry West, sons Matt and John West, daughter in-law, Michelle West and grandchildren, Reagan and Logan West, her 3 sisters, Clara Smith, Elizabeth Tedeschi, and Mary Kay Hoops, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Sapulpa, OK.  Flowers may be sent to Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa on Friday, September 3rd. Thoughts and memories may be shared at smithfuneralhomesapulpa.com
