Bobby Dwain “Butch” House Jr., 62, of Sapulpa, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 21, 2018 at St. John’s Tulsa. He was born on November 4, 1955, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Claryon and Bobby House. He was a member of Foundation Church in Sapulpa.
Butch worked hard all his life. He started at a young age working at A & W in Ponca City. After graduating from Sapulpa High School in 1974, he worked at ONG as a meter reader and American Insulation in Tulsa. With his family, they started H5 Insulation and Carpet. He worked as a diesel mechanic for his parents trucking company he also worked at Tru Discount as an assistant manager.
In May of 1981, he met the love of his life, Joyce Enlow, and two years later, they were married. They were blessed with two sons, Bobby Joe (BJ) House, and Joseph Scott (Joey) House. Bobby went to work for Creek County Highway Department District 1, where he worked until his death. His joys in life were being in Boy Scouts, meeting many lifelong friends, taking care of his family and friends, and always ready to lend a helping hand the Scout way to everyone.
Butch is survived by his wife Joyce of the home, sons Bobby Joe (BJ) and wife Lacey of Sapulpa, and Joey of Weleetka, brothers Mike and wife Kelly Jo, Tracy and wife Cheryl, Jim and wife Dana, all of Sapulpa, sisters Rebecca and husband Lloyd Williams, Cynthia and husband Chuck Berryhill of Glenpool, Kelly Dawn House of Tulsa, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Claryon House, and several aunts and uncles.
