Bobby Taylor Barton, 31, of Sapulpa, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at the Oklahoma Heart Institute in Tulsa, OK.

He was born on November 8, 1990 in Tulsa, OK to James Dale Barton and Beckie Ann (Raper) Barton. He always enjoyed working on computers and was able to turn that into a career, working at Ameratek after obtaining his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University.

He also enjoyed restoring classic cars, specifically Studebakers, and was an active member of the local chapter of the Studebaker Drivers’ Club. Beyond computers and cars, he was also gifted with fixing just about anything else he put his mind to, frequently restoring vintage pieces such as his multiple radios, phonographs, lamps, tables, and countless other things – he just had a talent for restoration.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Barton, his grandparents, Lane and Jean Ishmael and Bobby Raper, and many loved aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his mother, Beckie Barton; his siblings, Tonya Schlecht and husband Andy Schlecht, Anna Barton and fiancé Conner Boatright; nieces, Becca and Josie Schlecht; grandparents, Mike and Barbara Stafford; and countless loved cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Allen Free Will Baptist Church in Sapulpa, OK.
