Betty Ann Downs, 77, of Sapulpa passed from this life on Monday, March 25, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. She was born on March 9, 1942 in Tulsa, OK to James Leonard and Blanche Elizabeth (McCain) McGee.
She enjoyed traveling, working crossword puzzles and being with family.
She is survived by daughters, Lisa Downs and Lori Downs; grandchildren, Mehgan Dean and Morgan Turley; great-grandchild, Tatum Huss; sisters, Mary Roberts, Blanche Snow and Darlene Chandler; and brothers, James Norman McGee and Stanley Dean McGee.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Zelmer Downs; parents, James Leonard McGee and Blanche Elizabeth McGee; and brothers, Leonard Lee McGee, Earnest Elmer McGee and Paul Melvin McGee.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at First Christian Church, 220 E Lee Ave, Sapulpa, OK. Interment to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
