Andrew Johnson 85, of Sapulpa went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Andrew was born October 28, 1935 in Calvin, OK at home to Charlie and Judy Bear Johnson.

He graduated from Haskell Nations.  He was employed by the United States Navy for 20 years and Cemco.

Andrew faithfully served in the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, he retired in April 1976.  Andy toured in Japan, Hawaii, Vietnam, Africa, Hong Kong, and West Africa.

Andrew was married to Wanda for the last 36 years.  He was a member of the Snake Creek Baptist Church.

Andrew loved preaching the word and spending time with his family.

Andrew had a caring heart and was always willing to give a helping hand.  He was loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Andrew is survived by his wife Wanda of the home.  Children: Leslie Johnson of Tulsa, daughters Judy K Johnson of Tulsa, Susie Amador of Tulsa, Susan Martinac of Jenks. He is preceded in death his son Pharris Joseph (Butch).

Grandchildren: Mark Richard Bible II, Andrew Warren Bible, Ryan Ayo Bible, Kevin McManus and he had 6 great grandchildren all of Tulsa.

Andrew’s parents were Charlie and Judy Johnson.  Siblings are Sam Johnson, Rosie Johnson, Eugene Johnson, Tom Johnson, and Charles Johnson Jr. He is preceded in death by Charlie and Judy Johnson, David Johnson and Hannah Foster.

Honorary Pallbearers; Mark R Bible II, Andrew Bible, Ryan Bible, Kevin McManus, Harvey Johnson, Shane Hooper, James Bible, Nokose Bible and Mario Amador.

Services will go as follows:

Viewing only on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa from

6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 19, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa.

The Family will have a meal before the funeral service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Indian Fellowship Baptist Church located at 6130 S 58th W Ave, Tulsa
