Alfred “Al” William Austin was born on November 6, 1941 in Hulbert, Oklahoma to William Thedford and Nellie Grayson. Al departed this world and made the journey to his Heavenly Home on October 9, 2020. He was proceeded in death by his parents and seven siblings. He is survived by his loving wife Judy Austin of the home, daughter Rochelle Austin-Beddow and husband Matthew of Tulsa, son Aaron Austin and wife Kathy of Sapulpa, grandson Harley Herrera and granddaughter Abigail Austin. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Vandervort of Broken Arrow, OK. He is also survived by his extended family Snuf Triplett, Jennifer Triplett, Savanah and her husband Jaeden Herd and their daughter Laikynn and Mallory Triplett. Al married Judy Coplen on April 14, 1961 and they were happily married for 59 years. Al proudly served in the United States Army at Fort Carson, CO. Al and Judy resided in Tulsa. Al worked for Unit Rig & Equipment for over 20 years and was the Union Representative. He retired from American Airlines after 15 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing with his friends and coaching kid’s softball and baseball. He also loved western movies and music. Al had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him. He never knew a stranger. His loved ones, family and friends will miss him dearly until we are all reunited for an eternal celebration in our Heavenly Home.
