Alan Stephen Martin (Steve) was born in Ennis, Texas on February 19, 1960 to Richard and Mildred Martin.  He passed away peacefully on Thursday the 26th of August at St Francis Hospital, from COVID.  He was 61 years old.  Steve was a Christian and had a close relationship with Jesus.  Born and raised in Palmer Texas, he graduated from Palmer High School and worked for the City of Ennis for 17 years, then worked for the City of Sapulpa for 20 years.  Steve had 2 sons from his first marriage, Marcus and Marshall, whom he loved deeply.  In 1999, he married Laurie Britt Martin. Steve was a loving, caring stepfather to her 8 children.  He enjoyed outdoor life with the family, including riding around with the kids on 4-wheelers, shooting bees with his 22, and driving his Corvette and Harley.  He had a kind and compassionate heart and was always willing to give a helping hand.  He was loved and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.  He is survived by his loving wife Laurie, his children, grandchildren, mother, brother, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, August 30, 2021 with family greeting visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 2:00 pm, Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
