Ada Bell (Turner) Thomas-Tilly was born in Dunham, Oklahoma to Joseph and Hester Turner on December 1, 1929. May 15, 2020, at the age of 90, Ada went to be with the Lord. Ada and her 7 siblings were raised in Kellyville, Oklahoma. At the age of 17 she married and moved to Kansas City, KS, where she lived for a couple years before returning to her Oklahoma roots. She worked at Bartlett Collins Glass for many years, hand painting glass. Later she went to work for Frankoma Pottery as a trimmer. Ada was married 3 times. Although she never had her own children, she was loved by family. When her niece Carolyn was a toddler she would say, “I want my Ada” whenever she saw a picture of her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was very quick witted. She was loved by most everyone for her talkative nature. She was preceded in death by her six siblings; Mary Tolbert, Bertha Martin, Leona Knizley, Margaret Brown, Jim Turner and William Turner. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 18 at 2:00 PM at Green Hill Memorial Gardens 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa Ada’s Final Resting Place at Green Hill Memorial Gardens 400 E.
