Carl Ray West, 83 of Sapulpa passed from this life on Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. John’s Medical Center, Tulsa, OK. Carl was born on March 1, 1935 in Sapulpa, OK to Leonard and Dovie (Ruth) West. He was a Hydraulic Mechanic by trade. He had resided in the Sapulpa community all his life. He was a member of Bethel Holiness Church.

He is survived by daughter, Beverly Loftin; son, Billy West; grandchildren, James Lofton, Brandy West, Jeremy West, Jeanie, Leonard, Carla, Ashley and Allison; (James’ children) Shatow Loftin and Kenneth Loftin, (Brandy’s children) Savannah Berkley, Bentley Myers, Logan Myers and Tyler Myers, (Jeanie’s Children) Stephanie Johnston and Justin Johnston, (Carla’s child) Caliber and (Shatow’s children) Mary and Chloe; and sisters, Francis King and Roberta Reynolds both of Sapulpa, OK.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary West; sons, Carl Leonard West and Kenneth West; parents, Leonard and Dovie West; brother, Bobby West; and sister, Cecil Harris.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK. Interment to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
