Meet RAI’s two summer interns

SAPULPA, OK – Meet Reed Architecture and Interiors’ two summer interns: Pasha Eoff and Lily Nebergall.

“I’ve always seen this as a teaching firm,” said RAI founder and principal David Reed, whose Sapulpa firm has hosted one or more interns for 11 straight summers. “We do our very best to foster growth opportunities not just for students, but also for our full-time staff. Pasha and Lily should fit in well.”

Pasha Eoff is one of two students interning at Reed Architecture for the summer.

Eoff, age 21, is a senior at Harding University in Searcy, Ark. This Rogers (AK) High School graduate should complete Harding’s interior architecture and design degree program in May.

“I grew up being very artistic,” she said, explaining her career choice. “I thought graphic design was interesting, and ‘designer’ would make a cool title.”

This fall Nebergall, 23, will enter her fifth year at Oklahoma State University’s Donald W. Reynolds School of Architecture, on the path to graduating in May 2027. Like Eoff, this Jenks (OK) High School graduate started her career thinking from an artistic standpoint.

Lilly Nebergall is one of two summer interns at Reed Architecture.

“Still, I went into OSU undecided,” said Nebergall, “but I thought I was going to get a business degree and go to law school because that’s what my brothers did. But I was so jaded with the business classes I was taking. Then I discovered the School of Architecture at OSU after exploring different majors, and that appealed to my creative side. Architecture seems more fun and interesting to me, and it’s so challenging. Pursuing it has helped me grow so much.”

Eoff learned of Reed Architecture through her friend Holly Haslam, a fellow Harding student and daughter of RAI Project Manager Jason Haslam. Eoff appreciates Reed Architecture’s church and education work. Jason manages much of that with RAI’s Tulsa partner Master’s Plan Church Design and Construction.

“I really like the design team here,” Eoff said. “I interviewed with Adriana (Broaddrick, RAI’s director of interior design) and Nicollette (West, interior designer), and I really like how they described the environment. And I thought expanding my knowledge to sanctuaries and schools would give me a lot more opportunity and exposure.”

Pasha Eoff works at her desk at RAI in Sapulpa, where she is interning. She is currently a senior at Harding University in Arkansas.

Reed’s spiritual projects also attracted Nebergall, as does its other work. Having talked to RAI architects Bryan Broaddrick and Cassidy Teel, she knew she would appreciate the Reed’s environment. And having enjoyed past Route 66 Christmas Chutes, Nebergall knew she would like RAI’s headquarters town.

“Reed’s mind-body-soul philosophy was a big factor in me coming here,” she said. “It encourages optimal human living. It’s incredible whenever your craft can positively impact people’s lives.”

Nebergall’s goals remain short-term: getting her architectural license and building up her professional experience.

“I really like Reed’s small-town work environment and having local projects,” she said. “It would be amazing to actually see your design built.”

Lilly Nebergall works at her desk at RAI as an intern. “Reed’s mind-body-soul philosophy was a big factor in me coming here,” she says. “It encourages optimal human living.”

Eoff hopes these efforts help her establish an independent office specializing in architecture, interior design, and real estate.

“I want to get my real estate license, either commercial or residential,” she explained. “I’m leaning more to commercial design. I have an older friend; she’s in her 30s now. She went to Harding, moved to Colorado, and became a real estate broker. She really enjoyed that process. I talked to her about that and thought the combination of design and real estate would work well together.”
