Kellyville woman struck and killed on State Hwy 66

A 33-year-old mother of two was tragically killed when trying to remove a recliner from the roadway.

A 33-year-old mother of two was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday evening, about half a mile outside of Kellyville, Oklahoma Highway Patrol says.

According to the incident report, a Ford F150 was traveling eastbound on State Highway 66 at about 7 pm when they lost a recliner from the load they were carrying.

A second vehicle, a Nissan Altima driven by Brittany Victory, of Kellyville, stopped in the roadway, exited the vehicle and was in the turn lane trying to remove the load from the roadway.

OHP says a third vehicle swerved to miss the Nissan Altima and struck Victory in the roadway. Victory was taken to St. John in Sapulpa, where she was pronounced dead of massive injuries. She had three passengers in her car, ranging from four to twelve years old, none of whom were injured.

None of the other drivers or any of their passengers were injured.
