Youth Services of Creek County was chosen by Sapulpa-based Dynamic Restoration Roofing and Construction Company to receive a new roof for the holidays. Dynamic Restoration partnered with YSCC to “Raise the Roof” this holiday season, and is challenging the community to match their generous gift by donating other items that are needed to continue maintenance on the building.
What began in 1987 as a children’s shelter, has grown to include counseling, case management, parenting classes, and a youth diversion program. Each year, YSCC serves over 500 youth and families, with 100 of them being children living in the area.
Michael Balch, of Dynamic Restoration, says that the challenge was an opportunity they’d been looking for. “We’ve been so blessed over the last few years,” he said. “But so much of our business is outside the community. We thought it’d be a good idea to show the people here at home that we care about them, too.”
