Hot Dogs, Live Music and Football: What To Do This Weekend in Sapulpa

It’s October in Sapulpa and while the sun is still shining, the days are getting shorter and the fire pits are coming out for the smores and marshmallows. There’s going to be a lot of opportunity to enjoy the cooler weather this weekend! Here’s what’s happening:

Thursday, October 12th

On Thursday, October 12th Chuck-It Axe Co’s “Every Dog Feeds a Dog Program” teams with Gasoline Alley Classics to help our friends at Sapulpa Animal Shelter. They will even have their first hotdog eating contest, with a cash prize for the top dog! And lots of cool raffle giveaways! Starts at 6pm! Gasoline Alley is located at 24 N. Main.

Friday, October 13th

Lone Star Schools is having its annual Fall Festival featuring carnival games, small carnival rides, a silent auction and more! The fun starts at 5:30pm. Admission is free, but you’ll have to buy tickets for the games and rides.

Sapulpa High School Varsity Football will be playing Glenpool at home on Friday at 7pm. The clear bag policy and additional security measures are still in effect. Learn more about those here.

Hobson Hops on Friday from 4:30 to 9p; featuring music by Brujo Roots, Jake Tankersley, and Ray and the High Rollers! There will be food trucks, craft beer and wine, and a Kidzone for the kids! Bring the whole family! More information here.

The Tee Pee Drive-In is now showing classic ghost movies with s’mores kits! Friday they’ll be showing “Friday the 13th!” – get tickets at teepeedrivein.com or more information here.

Saturday, October 14th

Supertunias will be available for giveaway on Saturday morning starting at 6 am! Similar to what they did last year, the city will be giving the petunias away on a first come-first served basis. All you need to do is show up and stand by the basket or planter you want the flowers from. One day only, and these flowers will be gone!

Fall Clean-Up Day will be on Saturday as well! Going from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., this free dump day is open to anyone with a city utility account in good standing, and it does require a voucher! Get your voucher at City Hall during their normal business hours.
