A wrecker was called to flip an SUV upright on Saturday afternoon after a non-injury accident at the intersection of South Hickory and West McKinley Avenue. (We have a video of that here.)

Police on the scene said the SUV was traveling south on Hickory when a truck traveling west on McKinley failed to yield at the stop sign and collided with the driver’s side near the rear tire of the SUV, pushing it into the curb and causing it to flip over.
The driver of the SUV had five children in the car, and thankfully, none of the parties in either vehicle were injured.
Two students were playing outside on McKinley Avenue and witnessed the whole thing.
“I heard the car hit, looked over in time to see it flip over,” one said. “I ran inside to tell my dad, and he called the cops.”
The driver of the truck was driving with a suspended license, but because the accident was a misdemeanor that didn’t occur in the presence of an officer, a citation was issued, and the driver was released on their recognizance.
