A Creek County Ambulance supervisor’s vehicle was involved in an accident while responding to another call on early Saturday afternoon.

According to Sapulpa Police Captain Troy Foreman, the ambulance supervisor, lights and sirens blaring, was traveling southbound on Mission in response to another call near Hastain Avenue, when a white Chevrolet Traverse traveling eastbound failed to yield as the CCAS vehicle attempted to cross the intersection.

The EMS vehicle struck the Traverse near the driver’s side door, causing it to clip the traffic light on the corner and spin completely around before coming to a rest in the eastbound outside lane.

The Traverse was carrying four children and two adults, and thankfully, no serious injuries were reported in either party, aside from abrasions caused by seatbelts and airbags.
