The grand opening celebrated the first major building completion for the 2023 Chieftain Stronger school bond.

Students from Central Tech’s Digital Media and Business & Information Technology classes on the Drumright and Sapulpa campuses achieved remarkable success at the BPA State Leadership Conference held earlier this month.

This year, the event saw enthusiastic participation from 6th to 12th grade students across 13 school districts. Students voluntarily register to take part in a variety of contests and activities designed to challenge and inspire them.

"Upon investigation, it was determined that smoke was contained to an electrical outlet. Our maintenance staff quickly addressed the issue and cut power to the affected outlet."

Sapulpa Public Schools has announced that they'll take a traditional snow day for Thursday, February 20th. "Decisions have not been made for Friday, but we will keep you posted," school officials said in a statement sent to parents.

Lone Star has also canceled classes for tomorrow, and other rural schools are expected to follow suit.

Sapulpa Public Schools has decided to transition to Distance Learning for Tuesday ahead of the winter weather conditions expected starting February 18th.

In a statement released earlier this week, the Lone Star Superintendent said law enforcement is actively investigating an embezzlement situation from the school's athletic booster club.

SPS reschedules events in anticipation of an upcoming winter storm that could see inches of snow and days of sub-freezing temps.

This program would incentivize school districts to partner with local farmers, producers and meat processors to stock their cafeterias.
