Leave your backpack, purses, and fanny packs at home this Friday—Sapulpa schools says "clear bags only" at the football game.

The school has released a statement detailing certain rules for the game, including not allowing student backpacks, no re-entry after leaving, and no admittance to the game after half-time.

The American Heritage Bank Highway 97 Rivalry Game was meant to be a revenge against the Sandites. For most of the game, we were on our way there.

“I’m very excited by this. I feel very blessed to be a part of the Sapulpa community and very grateful for this opportunity.”

And with a movement of tassels and a toss of their caps, fireworks lit up the night, and family members rushed onto the field to hug their graduate and record the memory forever.

“We’re excited to welcome Jordan back to Sapulpa. He brings fantastic energy and expertise, and we look forward to seeing how he can shape the future of our basketball program.”

For the second year in a row, the Pings will bring home two DTU National Titles in two dances.

Sapulpa is one of only three high schools in the state with a Marine Corps JROTC program. Throughout Major Swepston’s tenure, cadets trained outdoors regardless of heat, rain, wind, ice, or snow.
