Sapulpa cleaned house at the Main Street Awards this year, taking home the top honor for the first time ever.

The new event didn't have the mass appeal of, say, the Route 66 Blowout, but it drew enough of an interested crowd to be worth repeating, and has the potential to get larger and more spectacular each year.

Sapulpa brought home not one, but three awards­—one for the Christmas Chute, and two for Gasoline Alley Classics.

Three of Sapulpa's most successful projects were made finalists in the awards: The Route 66 Christmas Chute, Sapulpa's "Rumble Fish Alley" development, and the new local business "Gasoline Alley Classics."

Steven McClenathan is $500 richer this Christmas, after winning the final ticket to the 2022 Sapulpa Main Street Jingle Bells Sweepstakes—or to hear him tell it, his wife is $500 richer.
