K9 Officer Ranger retired today, officially earning the title of "very, very good boy" from Sheriff Brett Bowling and rest of the Creek County Sheriff's Office.

Despite offering a higher-capacity generator at a lower cost, the Commissioners awarded the bid to a competitor, citing incorrect specifications.

The County began accepting applications beginning on June 19th for candidates to replace the late Don Engle as County Treasurer.
