This week in Sapulpa history, Sapulpa’s very own Jimmie Wilson and his band Catfish String Band played proudly on the radio station KFRU in Bristow.

This Sapulpa Native became the first black student to enroll at OSU, and in 1952 she earned her Masters of Science degree.

Though new to the position, Haddock is not new to the community, having served with the Sapulpa library for six years, and before that was the library director at Mounds for 8 years.

The Arc of Oklahoma posthumously honored  local direct support professional Dustin Rabatine during the 2021 Advocacy Awards. Rabatine was a direct service provider at Bios.

Sapulpa Chieftains walked away with big wins in both wrestling and basketball late last week!

We thought it good, with the passing of Sapulpa native Shirley Bennett Brooks, last month, during the season of giving, to express some words of gratitude.

Though the Sapulpa Ping Pings frequently win state titles in one category or another, they've never won 1st in every category they entered—until this year.
