The agenda for a Special Meeting on Tuesday evening at 7pm has been released, and the foremost action item in it is to convene in executive session and then “Possible consideration, motion and vote on motion for the board to take any action the board deems appropriate with regard to the continuing employment of the superintendent of schools.”

Superintendent Burr has come under heavy fire from the community due to several episodes of misconduct alleged by former Holmes Park Principal Bobby Alfred, which the public was made aware of through his resignation letter earlier this month.

While at least one employee has come to Burr’s defense, several others have stepped forward in supporting Bobby Alfred and even going to so far as to call out the credibility of the claims made by Athletic Director Jason Parker.

Superintendent Burr was on vacation at the time of the last board meeting, which included an executive session and was held on June 23. It’s unclear if he’ll be present at the special meeting tomorrow.
