“Each year area artists are invited to enter their original works of art,” said Waldrop. “We have such a strong and varied art community in Sapulpa, Creek County, and Tulsa County. I love getting a sneak peek at what our artists have created, I am always amazed by the variety and creativity presented by artists of all ages. It is truly spectacular.”

Artists may enter up to two pieces in each of the eight categories for adults and 5 youth categories. They must have been created after January 1, 2019, and that have not been entered our previous shows. The judges will award ribbons and cash prizes in each of the category.

Adult artists, both professional and amateur, compete in the following categories: watercolor, oil painting, acrylic painting, graphics (which includes pencil, pastel and/or conte), mixed media, 3-D/sculpture, black & white photography, color photography, and graphic design/digitally manipulated photography.

The Young Adult artists categories include paper or canvas art in black and white; paper or canvas art in color; photography; and sculpture, pottery and 3-D/sculpture.
