(SPS) – Soon it will be time to set your alarm and get to bed earlier so you can wake up and get your kids off to school.

Summer is coming to a close as the first day of school quickly approaches on Aug. 15.

Before the students return though, there are pictures to be taken, Chromebooks to be checked out, paperwork to be completed, school supplies to be purchased, teachers to meet, and schedules to be picked up. Below is a list to help you plan for the first day of school.

FREE AND REDUCED PRICE MEALS
All students who qualify based on family size and income are approved for free or reduced-price meals. Applications must be approved before benefits can begin. Applications will be sent home with all students on the first day of school and online applications can be found at the My School Apps website. A new application must be filled out each school year.

*Bartlett Academy students will receive their schedule, Chromebook, and student ID on the first day of school.
