The polling location for Precinct 112 will be temporarily changed for the upcoming February 8th election, according to a statement released by the Creek County Election Board on Tuesday afternoon.

Joy Naifeh, Secretary of the County Election Board, announced that the voters in Precinct 112, who had been voting at Beams of Light Church at 1831 S. Water Street, would now be voting at Central Tech, 1720 S. Main. The change takes effect immediately and will be new location for the municipal election coming up in February. That election will primarily consist of the extension of the two-cent sales tax.

The statement says the move was made in response to “a request,” but gave no further details.
