Where the wind blows

Where the water flows

A secret hides

Day and night

Waiting til the time is right

It sits in a box

And is guarded by a fox

Not small and red

But big and wants to be fed

But big as a mountain

And lays by a fountain

Little water it gives

But the fox still lives

He likes berries best

But he’ll also eat the pest

Then one day the peace was gone

When someone stepped on his lawn

He died that day

In some kind of way

But the box still sits

Where the wind blows

And water flows

In a house that is small

A lady wears a shawl

She sits by the fire

And will not tire

Of listening to the wind blowing

And the water flowing

She does not know

That where she sits

The box still hides

Not small and brown

But big and wants to be found

It waits day and night

And now the time is right

I guess I have to tell you

What’s in the box

So look around

And don’t make a sound

There is a fox in the box

This is a girl

And she has a kit

So back up and keep the hunters away

Not small and red

But big as a mountain

And lays by a fountain

So when you go

To the place where the wind blows

And the water flows

Look for the fox and the box
