It’s Fall Break, and the good times are happening in downtown Sapulpa! While the Route 66 Christmas Chute is still under construction, be sure to check it out while you’re attending one of these events!
Thursday, October 13th
Sapulpa Football at Glenpool
The Sapulpa Chieftains (3-3) are heading down the highway to play the Glenpool Warriors (4-2) in a special Thursday night game for Fall Break. They’ll return home next week to play Memorial for homecoming!
Friday, October 14th
Hobson Hops
The second annual Hobson Hops will feature a number of breweries, wineries and food trucks, plus plenty of great music, including:
- JW Francis (4 – 4:45 pm)
- Denise Hoey (5 – 5:45 pm)
- Brandon Jackson (6 – 7 pm)
- The Brothers Moore (7:30 – 9 pm)
Saturday, October 15th
Red Barn on Hobson Open House
After decades of collecting (and displaying) a literal barn full of historic Sapulpa icons and signage, owner Larry White is selling it all. The sale is next weekend, (October 22nd), but you can get one last look at all the great neon, oil memorabilia, radios, clocks, Daisy BB Guns, and antiques of all sorts on Saturday from 1 – 4pm. The Red Barn on Hobson is located at 1002 E Hobson Avenue.

FREE Jazzberry Super Petunias at the Burnett Mansion
If you missed your chance to get one of the beautiful bunches of super petunias (see below) that the city was giving away last Saturday, you’ve got another chance coming! On Monday from 5 – 7 pm, you can get one of 35-40 jazzberry super petunias at the historic Burnett Mansion, located at 320 S. Main. Just pull into the alley behind the mansion and they will load them into your car for you!
