Saturday, June 9

Stop by with the family and cheer on the Gran Fondo cyclists as they make a stop at Sahoma Lake Park from 8:00am to 11:30am. Will be a Live DJ, activities for the kiddos and fun for the whole family! More information here.

Antique Auto Club of America Tulsa Region and Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum Car Show from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 13 Sahoma Lake Road in Sapulpa. All car clubs and individuals are invited to participate with the antique and collectible cars. No fees or judging, just fun! They will have hot dogs, chips, and pop available for $5 + tax.

Aqua Zumba at the Sapulpa Aquatics Center from 11 a.m. to noon at 701 North Brown in Sapulpa. Get some exercise and fun in the sun at the Sapulpa pool! Cost is $5 per person and is payable to the instructor, Samantha Copeland. (She also has classes on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7.)

Father’s Day Make-n-Take Event at Junkin’ Jypsies Ceramics at 619 North Mission Street in Sapulpa from noon to 4 p.m. Come make a picture frame for the special father in your life! Spaghetti Dinner and Fundraiser hosted by Sapulpa Church of the Nazarene from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 302 South Elm Street in Sapulpa. This is a come-and-go dinner and pie auction with proceeds going to help kids go to church camp. Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for kids.

Sunday, June 10

Clear out the Shelter! at the Sapulpa Animal Shelter located at 515 East Fife Avenue in Sapulpa at 1 p.m. This event is hosted by Mrs. Jenks Oklahoma who started a volunteer challenge with the Sapulpa Animal Shelter to find forever homes for pets that have been at the shelter, some set to be euthanized. Over 20 little girls participated in helping with donations, finding foster homes, and getting the animal that they “sponsored” adopted from the shelter. On Sunday they will each represent the animal they advocated for over the last two months and the girls will receive a crown and an award for taking part in the challenge. Come down to support your furry friends and these awesome kids!

Daisy Days of Summer Arts & Crafts Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Creek County Fairgrounds at 17806 West Highway 66 in Kellyville. It’s free to get in to this indoor arena full of handcrafted gifts, jewelry, skin and bath products, children and adult clothing boutiques, and a large kids area.

Kellyville Heritage Days in downtown Kellyville from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. This is a kid-friendly town party with activities, a street dance, food (teachers eat free with their school I.D.!), salsa contest, pie walk, inflatables, silent auction, flea market, two live bands, a parade, and a car, truck, tractor, and motorcycle show.
