Cherry Fargo and her organization “Being Remade” is sponsoring this week’s FCF at CTX Coffee, 114 E. Dewey Ave on Friday from 7:30am to 9:30am – come in for a free drip coffee or discounted specialty coffee, and meet Fargo, who is launching her new book, “Overcoming Shame, Finding Freedom” this weekend!
High School Football: Sapulpa Chieftains Vs. Tahlequah Tigers
The first home game of the season will feature the Chieftains going head-to-head with the Tigers. Sapulpa schools has announced increased security measures for the first home game in light of the shooting in Choctaw last weekend. Kickoff is at 7:30pm. Sapulpa Main Street Route 66 Farmers Market
The Sapulpa Main Street Route 66 Farmers Market happens ever Saturday (weather permitting) in the Rumble Fish Alley, just north of Dewey between Water and Park Streets. In peak season you’ll find the best locally-ground produce and homemade soaps, breads and linens around, with vendors frequently changing throughout the summer season. The market runs from May through October and is a great way to support our local producers.
Sassy Shiny Fall Craft Fair
Sassy Shiny is hosting a fall craft fair at the Creek County Fair Grounds in Kellyville. Open from 10am to 6pm, come out and support the local artisans and crafters!

Coming Up: Route 66 Blowout!
Next weekend is the 34th Annual Route 66 Blowout Car Show and Festival, which might be just as hot as it would’ve been in June, but it’ll still be a great time. This free event draws classic cars, rat rods, hot rods, bikes, Jeeps, the whole works. Be sure to pre-register your car! More information here.
