Tuesday evening marked the last severe storm we’re likely to see for a while (hopefully), so that means two things: events that canceled from last week’s weather are back this week, and new events are kicking off as well!
If you only do one thing this weekend, make it this one

Sapulpa Community Theatre’s brand new show, “Mom’s Gift,” opens this weekend. Called “a comedy with a heart,” this new production features “Mom,” who passed away 11 months ago, and shows up unexpectedly at her husband’s birthday party as a ghost. The only one who can see her? The estranged daughter who is only there because her anger management classes made her go! Mom has to complete some mysterious task to earn her wings and finish her journey into the afterlife, but what is it? As the family begins to peel back and address the secrets they’re hiding, they reveal a shock that surprises even our ghost! Tickets for Friday’s showing are already sold out, and the other performances are bound to not be far behind. Get tickets now at sapulpatheatre.org.
