Thursday, August 16

Rock’n’Ramble Fun Run benefiting Show, Inc. from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the corner of Walnut and Hobson Streets. A fun run…because it’s too hot for a 5k! There will be a 1975-1985 themed costume contest at the midway point and every entry receives a cool medal, a t-shirt and a sticker. Rock the Block hosted by Sapulpa Main Street, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the corner of Park and Hobson Streets in Sapulpa. Join Sapulpa Main Street and  sponsor Senegence for this month’s family-friend block party! There will be live music by Bethany Grace & Gypsy Soul, food trucks, drinks, and lots of fun. Friday, August 17

Free Dance Classes & Open House at 6 p.m. at Ovations Studio & Gym at 25 East Lee in Sapulpa. Are your kids obsessed with The Greatest Showman? Let them take this free class to learn to dance like the greatest show on earth! Along with learning the awesome dances to songs from the movie, it will give your kids a great introduction to different dance styles so they can know what classes they are most interested in taking. Pound Glow Workout hosted by Fit Sapulpa at 7 p.m. at 501 West Dewey in Sapulpa. Join them for a brand new workout featuring black lights! The cost is $10 per person and space is limited. Sapulpa Main Street’s Route 66 Farmers Market from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 222 East Dewey Avenue in Sapulpa. They will have lots of fresh produce, baked goods, fresh eggs, local beef, homemade items, and more. Come spend the morning with the farmers at the market! Tines & Lines Expo from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Creek County Fairgrounds. This event is hosted by First Baptist Church of Sapulpa and “combines the love of hunting, fishing and the gospel.” This is a free event with something for everyone in the family, including archery, a BB gun range, fishing demos, a Kids Zone with a petting zoo, laser tag, and face painting, numerous exhibitors, and a special guest speaker. Movies in the Park at Kelly Lane park in Sapulpa at dusk, presented by Sapulpa Parks and Recreation. Movies in the park is back for the fall! Bring your family and your picnic blanket to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on the lawn of Kelly Lane Park. This a free event. Boats, Melons, & BBQ hosted by the Mannford Chamber of Commerce from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the new Mannford ramp on Keystone Lake. This is a huge event with tons of activities for your whole family! The will have lots of fun kid events and activities, live music, cardboard boat races, a BBQ contest, food vendors, craft and product vendors, a car show, and much, much more.
